Merry-NO-round!

Juli always wants to ride the Merry-go-round at the mall. For some reason Livi always wants to do it, but when it comes time to go on it, she doesn't like it. She actually freaked out a little and kept saying, "no horsey, no horsey!" So I held her and we sat on a bench. The little stinker had the nerve to say, "Wheee!" as we rode a merry-go-round on a bench. I can't believe a child of mine doesn't like rides!

Juli had a good time as usual!

Sh!t Happens

The girls were playing in the family room while James and I were in the dining room chatting. Juli came in and after a minute I asked her where Livi was, she of course didn't know. So I went to the family room to check on her.

When I went in, she was sitting on the floor playing with something. As I looked at her, I realized her pants were off. A split second later I realized her diaper was also off.

OH MY GOD - IT'S POOP! SHE'S PLAYING WITH POOP!! EWW! EWW! EWW!

And a bunch of other things along those lines ran through my head. Luckily it was only one turd and she only got it on her hands! It could have been SO much worse!

I grabbed her hands and yelled for James. He cleaned her up while I held her wrists. We whisked her right up to the bath after that.

And I thought she was going to be my good girl...

Meeting Bubba

We picked up Katie from the hospital tonight and got a sneak peek at Ryan. What a cutie! The girls were all excited and Katie was proud to show off her baby brother!

Monkeys

Lately the girls have been little monkeys, getting into anything and everything they can. Here they are caught "rearranging" some of our Valentine decorations.

Welcome to the World, Ryan Joseph!

Ryan Joseph was born a little early at 8lbs 4oz, and 20.5 inches long.

Giggleberry Fair

We headed up to Penns Purchase Outlets / Peddlers Village today. On a whim we decided to go into Giggleberry Fair. Juli was beside herself with glee when we walked in. She started yelling, "It's like a carnival, Mommy! It's like a carnival inside!!" So we grabbed some lunch and had some fun.

Here is Juli on giant game board. She was playing a music game at the time, but it also did dodge ball and other cool stuff.

Livi thought it was pretty cool too!

They have a fishing area with magnetic fishing poles and little fish and boats. Just as I was about to take Juli's picture her stool slipped out from under her and she fell in. I didn't realize I caught the picture until we got home later! Don't worry it was only a few inches deep.

Let's try that again.

Valentine's Visitor

Our Valentine's day plan was to hang out with the girls and make heart shaped pizzas. Since Karen ended up in the hospital having to get her gallbladder out, we took Sara to our house for the day. The girls LOVED having her.

Juli looks like she is reprimanding Sara, but really she's saying something along the lines of "You're so cute! Yes you are! You are the cutest little baby in the whole wide world!! Aren't you??" (LOL)

Say Hello to Sara

Today we went to Nonna & Pop's to celebrate Nonna's birthday. Her birthday is tomorrow, but Sunday was easier to get us all together. The girls finally met Sara. Juli was quite smitten.

Hello Friends

Juli sometimes asks about her friends at her old school. So we decided to write them a letter (which reminds me, we should probably mail it! LOL). Juli has been practicing her writing so she wrote the letter and I helped her spell the words.



In case you can't read it, it says:

Snow Day

Schools were delayed by snow, so we went out to play for a while before school. I didn't get too many pictures, but we had a good time!

Livi loves playing with Mr. Potato Head and family. She dumps them all out and makes a huge mess out of them. At least she's having fun!
