Oh Christmas Tree!

My phone takes crappy pictures, but you get the idea. We made it through the boxes of decorations and got the tree up! Love this time of year!

Got Christmas??

Today James brought up ALL of our Christmas stuff. He made me go through it so we could see what was in all of these boxes. Most of them ended up being only half full so we didn't have as much as we thought we did. The girls were pretty amused by it.

Excuse the picture quality. Livi was running around taking pictures of everything. She is currently obsessed with my camera. It looks like there is some grubby two year old finger prints on the lens. I have to remember to clean that.

Ni Hao, Livi

Livi with her Ni Hao, Kai Lan pillow that Nonna made for her to make her recovery happier. There is actually a Kai Lan doll on the pillow, but it is hard to see because she lined it up just right. I think it is safe to say she is pretty happy with her Kai Lan stuff.

Thankful

Happy Thanksgiving! So much to be thankful for today. Livi is recovering well from her surgery. She has hardly needed any pain medication at all. She refused to take the prescription pain medicine, in fact the one time we got it into her she threw it up. So we have been sticking to Tylenol and she hasn't needed much of that either! I really hope this is just what she needed!

We are also thankful for our family. Our family table is getting bigger every year.

This year was Sara's first thanksgiving.

And Ryan's first thanksgiving.

These three are old pros. I think we will be needing a bigger kiddie table next year.

The fam. (The dining room looks MUCH better this year! LOL )

The rest of the family.

Goodbye Adenoids

Olivia said goodbye to her adenoids today. They were almost completely blocking her nasal passage. They were giving her a lot of trouble - constant congestion, snoring, sleep apnea. It was time for them to go.

Check out my cool PJs.

Take my picture!

Livi and Daddy

Mommy and Livi

Right after this, Livi got to drink some "silly juice" and wait for the doctor to get there. She was so silly and loopy. The nurses were cracking up. As soon as the doctor got there they took her for her surgery.

We met her in recovery about an hour later. They had given her something to help her sleep off the anesthesia since she started screaming when she woke up. She looked pretty pitiful with all her montiors and IV. She did great though. She did whine a lot as she was waking up. She finally really woke up and kept saying she wanted to go home and she wanted to take all the stuff (IV and monitors) off of her.

We had to hang out there for 3 hours. She had some ice and a popsicle while we waited. She was much happier when we were able to hold her. Overall she did pretty good. She was glad when we finally got home and she was able to get comfortable.
