Bowling Party

Juli has been asking to go bowling for a while.  She finally got her chance!  Her Girl Scout troop had a bowling party.  She had a fabulous time.  She thought it was really neat when they turned the lights out and turned the black lights on.  That may have been her favorite part.

Coloring Easter Eggs

We dyed our Easter eggs tonight. The girls took it very seriously as you can see. They have their concentration faces on. I'm not sure why Livi is pouting in the one picture, but it's pretty funny. We did have an incident, but I think it was after that picture.

I caught Livi with the spoon that had been previously in the dye now in her mouth. I told her not to put it in her mouth.

A few minutes later I look over and she has another spoon up to her mouth and is licking the dye on it. I said, "DO NOT put the spoons or the dye in your mouth! It's yucky, you can't eat it."

She said, "You said to try it. You told me try the pink one."

I did tell her to try it, but I meant dip her egg in it, not TASTE it. Sheesh. I really have to remember that soon-to-be 3 year olds take everything very literally.

A 1st Grader?

We took Juli to register for 1st Grade tonight. Yes, FIRST GRADE. Isn't she still a baby? How can she possibly be going into first grade? She couldn't have been more excited to go to the big kids school and register if she wanted to. Look how proud she looks!

Of course Livi was not to be forgotten. She needed to get her picture taken too.

While we were in the school, we bumped into Juli's dance teacher's husband. Turns out he is a first grade teacher there. He gave Juli the VIP tour and she can't wait to start in his class next year. Yep, she think's she is going to be in his class. She has a 1 in 11 shot. Let's see what happens...

This Must Be A Record!

I'm looking at my picture folders and there is nothing between Ryan's birthday and 3/23! I didn't think it was possible for me to go that long without taking a picture!
