I'm looking at my picture folders and there is nothing between Ryan's birthday and 3/23! I didn't think it was possible for me to go that long without taking a picture!

The girls love taking pictures. They got a hold of my camera in the yard. I'm not sure which one of them took what, but some are obvious.

Livi took Juli's picture.

This was the best of the bunch, not an easy task!

A Double Rainbow!

Today after being sick all afternoon from my newest round of antibiotics we decided to get out of the house for a bit. We were lucky enough to spy this double rainbow. It's kind of hard to see the second arch on top, but it is there. I only had my point and shoot in my purse so this was the best I could do.

It did make a bright spot in my otherwise dreary day. I think this was the first time I have ever seen an entire rainbow from one end to the other, and a double one at that! It was huge and I could not get it all in the picture. It was so bright and beautiful!

Summer Days

With the summer days drifting away, we keep trying to squeeze in more summer fun before it is over. We went to two playgrounds, yes two! The first one was pretty old and run down. We decided to look for a better more up to date one. I liked the picture of Livi above, so I made it more antique-looking to go with the antique seesaw they were one!

Ok so it wasn't really antique, just in bad need of a paint job!

At the newer playground, Juli found a slide that must have been quite the hair-raising experience! LOL That's some crazy static!

And yet she kept going back for more!

Livi was loving the "Livi-sized" equipment.

Love & Laughter

We were having thunderstorms tonight and the power was dipping in and out. Juli and I found some flashlights and prepared for a blackout. We never exactly got a blackout, but we did have a bunch of fun. We tried to do some lightwriting for an assignment for my photography group, but I learned we stink at that. This picture came from me setting the timer on my camera and running and hopping on the bed before it took a picture. Apparently this is really funny to a 3 and a half year old.

Playing in the Pool

It was pretty hot out the last few days. We got into temps of 98 degrees and higher. It felt like over 105!! These pictures are from last week when it wasn't quite that hot! I dug the pool out of the garage, well more like I poked it out of the rafters with a broom handle until it fell on my head! The girls loved it and had a great time swimming in it!

Looks like the water may have been a little chilly!

Ahhh, that's more like it!

Livi's 1st Birthday Party

Yesterday we had Livi's birthday party. As you can tell, it was a Winnie the Pooh themed party. Here are some pictures of the day:
