Silly Cupid

Juli has a drawer full of bathing suits (or bathing soups as Juli calls them) in her room. Tonight she asked me where I got one from. I told her, "They are there from last summer. That's where we keep it."

She turned around with her eyes all wide and said, "Really? That's so nice of him!"

I said, "What?? What are you talking about? Who?"

She said, "My bathing soups, they're from Cupid!"

I laughed and told her, "No, I said that is where we KEEP IT, not CUPID."

Breakfast Beauties

Just a typical breakfast at our house...

Just kidding. I let the girls put their table in the family room for breakfast and they seemed to enjoy it. They ate better then normal, without all of the fussing. The robes and sunhats were their own fashion choices.

Goofy Girls

Silly kids. Juli is reading Dr. Seuss in her bathing suit and Livi is trying to put on Juli's underpants. LOL This is a typical night at our house.

Wordless Wednesday 8.6.08

Spoon Noses

Katie joined us for dinner tonight. We had crockpot chicken for dinner. The girls were not too interested in the chicken. They did find a new use for their spoons. Juli somehow got it to stick on her nose and then couldn't figure out how to do it again. She finally figured it out.

Of course, Katie needed to do it too. Uncle James helped her figure it out.

Hopefully this is a trick that falls to the wayside!

Lightning Bugs

After helping James with his bike the other night, Juli noticed that the lightning bugs were out. She quickly ran into the garage to get her bug house. She immediately caught one and shoved lovingly placed him into the bug house. When we were ready to go in the house, she asked me if her new buggy friend could come in and watch Blues Clues with her. Since it was only a lightning bug and nothing resembling a tarantula I agreed. It was only in the house for about 5 minutes, then we took it out to get "fresh air" on the porch.

I think I'm going to have to fire my cleaning ladies. They didn't really get anything clean and they really goofed around a lot...

O Giraffe

TRUE STORY!! I swear!

The other day Juli was eating Cheerios (or O's as we call them here). She had them scattered all over the table. I went to put my plate on the table and I swiped them over in front of her with the side of my hand. She got all excited and was like, "Mommy look!! You made a giraffe!" I was like, "What are you talking about?" I looked down and sure enough, I had made a giraffe. Wish I could take the credit for it, but it was a total accident! LOL

Party At My Crib

The other morning while I was getting dressed the girls were in their rooms playing. It got pretty quiet (which usually means trouble) so I went to check it out. This is what I found:

PBS & PJs

This morning we had some errands to run. We get in the car and Juli asks if we can use PBS for PJs. I had no idea what she was talking about. I thought maybe she saw some pajamas on sale while watching TV, since she does watch PBS. I asked her what she meant and she said, "Daddy's PBS. Can we use it?"

I still have no idea what she's talking about and I tell her as much. She said, "DADDY's PBS. YOU KNOW! I put numbers and letters in it with Daddy. We need it to go to PJs."

Oh.

She wanted to use the GPS to get to BJs (the wholesale club).

LOL

You Have A Little Something

"Hey Jul, you have a little something on your face."

"I do, where?"

"Right here."

"Oh." "Did I get it?"

"No, over... over... yeah, right there."




Ps - that is not Juli's Halloween costume. It was Katie's from her first halloween. You can't really see in the picture, but it doesn't even come close to buttoning at the bottom on Juli. She somehow managed to squeeze herself into a size 6 months costume that was too short for even Olivia.

Courtesy of Julianna, I'm sure. If I leave my laptop open she runs over and says, "Look Mommy, I'm typing. I love typing my letters." I think maybe she was trying to type her name, and just held down the J and the U for a while. Silly kid.
