The other night we were driving to my mom's house and Juli saw a church. She asked if that was where we got married. I told her no, the church we got married in is near Nonna's house. The rest of the conversation went like this:
Juli - Why?
Me - Because that is where I lived.
Juli - Why?
Me - I grew up there. It is where I lived before I married Daddy.
Juli - No we live in our white house.
Me - We do now. Mommy and Daddy bought that house and moved there when we got married.
Juli - But it's too heavy!
Me - What?
Juli - It's too heavy!
Me - the house?
Juli - yeah, it's too heavy. Too many people would have to hold it up and move it.
Me - {Giggle} Honey, we didn't MOVE the house, we moved into the house. We packed our bags and put our stuff inside the house. The house stayed where it was, we only moved our stuff.
Juli - But it's still too heavy.

Happy Easter!
Juli and her Easter basket.
Grandma wasn't feeling good and didn't get to join us, but she dropped off some really nice presents. Thanks Grandma!
When Juli put her dress on she looked at the sleeves and was like, "Hey, what are these? I have princess sleeves!" Then she kept walking around saying, "I'm a pretty princess." LOL.
Our evening entertainment:
I have a video of Juli, Katie and Livi dancing, but it is too long and I don't know how to cut it. If I figure it out, I'll post it.

Remember when?
Tonight at dinner Juli asked if rocks are pretty. So James said they could be then he explained to her that diamonds are rocks and used my engagement ring as an example. It was hanging on a hook over the sink from earlier when I was washing dishes. I had also hung a necklace of hers there. She noticed it and said and my heart necklace is a pretty rock too. (It's not a rock, it may actually be plastic or something on a sterling silver chain, not sure.) The conversation that followed, went like this:
Juli: Remember when I was a baby and I bought that necklace?
{It was actually a gift from one of my coworkers.}
Me: How did you buy it, with what money?
Juli: Remember when I was little and people used to put lots of money in my pockets?
Me: Ummm.... no.
Juli: Well they did, and I wasted it all.
Me: You wasted it? On what?
Juli: On necklaces and stuff.
Me: Oh.
Ok...

Fun and Games
Today, Nonna, Juli and I played a rousing game of Candyland today while Livi took a nap. Juli was very excited!
Juli really did win. I won the first game and Nonna ALMOST won the second one, but Juli made a comeback and beat us!

The World Through Juli's Eyes
Daddy's Daughter
Tonight we were sitting in the family room and Juli was talking to my mom. Somehow they got to a point in the conversation that went like this:
Juli (to Nonna): Am I your daughter too?
Nonna: No, your mommy is my daughter. You are her daughter.
Juli: No, I'm daddy's daughter.
*laughter*
Nonna: You're mommy's daughter too.
Juli: No I'm not, I'm daddy's daughter.
Sandy: Did you grow in my belly?
Juli: Yes.
Sandy: Then you are my daughter.
Juli: No, I'm not. I'm DADDY'S daughter.
Um, yeah. She's not "Daddy's Little Girl" or anything, is she? LOL.

Livi's New Hobby
Livi has a new hobby. Climbing. Every time I turn around she has climbed onto something else. Let the fun begin!
This morning she was playing and went around the couch. I went around to see what she was doing and there she was up on the stool. Guess I can't put her in time out since she was already there!
Yesterday I went into the kitchen for a second to fill Juli's cup. I came back into the family room to find this:

She loves looking out windows. Crazy kid.
