Weekend with Nonna & Pop 8.23.08

The girls' school was closed for a little over a week, so they went to spend some time with Nonna and Pop at the campground. Nonna shared these pictures with us.

They had a halloween party that weekend and Nonna cooked up some costumes for the girls. Juli is a campfire and Livi is a smore. In case you can't read Juli's sign it says "Campers have smore fun."

This guy was dressed up for the haunted hayride. Juli was really scared of him. He had to wait until she was cheesing for the camera to hold his mask up!

The girls hanging out.

Juli and her friends.

Livi doing her own thing.

One day they went over to Atlantic City Aquarium (obviously).

Pop and the girls at the petting tank.

Looks like Juli made a new friend.

Livi, Pop and Juli over there vogueing.

Um, look here everyone!

Posing with a pirate.

Juli took the helm, must be in her blood.

Abescon Lighthouse. Juli climbed all the way to the top and back down with Pop.

Livi playing in the sand.

The girls had a great time and can't wait to go back!

Independence Day

For the 4th of July we went down to the campground to visit with Nonna & Pop. The girls had a great time in the lake and the pool. Juli and Katie stayed for the weekend. Can't wait to hear how much fun they had!

The Three Amigos. Katie looks smaller than Livi here, but she had her butt down in the planter!

Pretty Livi.

Katie, Livi and Pop blowing bubbles.

Livi in the lake. She looks like she is crying, but she was really laughing and clapping!

Katie & Juli puttering around the lake. Karen is out there with them, I just didn't get her in the picture.

Livi giving kisses to the fishies.

Splish Splash!

After the lake we went to the pool. Katie was hanging on the rope on the kiddie side of the pool.

Juli in the kiddie side, Katie trying to escape! (Don't worry, Pop and Karen were both right over on that side!)

Livi had a blast swimming around with Pop (and Aunt Karen too).

Katie and Livi hanging out.

Livi looking smushed in her lifejacket.

All that activity was tiring! Livi didn't even make it all the way back from the pool! She fell asleep in the wagon.

A neat picture of the campfire.

Campground Ladies Sing Your Song, Doo-dah...

Juli and Livi went down the campground with Nonna and Pop. I swiped these pictures off of my mom's shutterfly that she sent to me, so they aren't the best quality. I couldn't get some of them to save right, so here are the ones I did get.

Beach Bums

Livi wishing she was in the lake?

Look at those lifeguards!

Livi napping on her little futon.

Juli in the lake.

The girls love it there and can't wait to go back!

Pirates, Parties & Pools

On Saturday, Juli was down the campground with Nonna & Pop. They had a "Dress like a Pirate Party." Juli got all decked out and went to scavage some loot.

Here she is getting ready for the party:

She has her bag ready to hunt for treasures.
She didn't win best costume, but she had a great time. I definitely think she could have won, but maybe I'm a little biased, lol.

This is a picture of Juli and Sal. She told my mom and dad that she had to go play with her boyfriend. We think it's a little early for her to have a boyfriend. When James gets home she'll probably be grounded.

On Sunday we went to Brigette's baby shower. Juli stayed with Pop at Mom-Mom's house. She had tons of fun swimming and playing with everyone, including the dog and the cat!

Of course it wouldn't be complete without a picture of a sleeping Olivia.

Mighty big float for a little girl!

July 4, 2007

We went to pick Juli up, she spent the week with Nonna and Pop. She wanted to show us how she picks blueberries.

She's supposed to put them in this bucket after she picks them. I should have taken a picture of the inside of the bucket. At any given time there was only about 2 blueberries in the bucket. The rest went directly into her belly.

She also wanted to show us how she throws pebbles into the lake.

Olivia spent most of the day sleeping. She woke up to show us how she didn't like being under awnings or screen houses. We had to walk around with her facing out so she could see the great outdoors.
