A little R&R
Livi seemed to be on the mend. Nothing like a little rest and relaxation to lift your spirits. We hung out in our PJs and watched TV for most of the day.

You give me fever.
Poor Livi ended up with a fever of 102 tonight. She was fine this morning, she woke up from her nap with a fever. Luckily CiCi took Juli and I was able to give Livi my undivided attention.
About 20 minutes after a bath and going to bed she threw up ALL over herself and her crib. Luckily that was the only time that happened.

Someone needs a time out.
And I think it might be me. LOL I didn't get a chance to upload these photos right away, so I'm not even sure what this fit was over. I just remember it being a really whiney night.

Old Friends, New Friends
Today we were finally able to meet up with some friends today that I have known online for a while. The mommy and I were in a group together while we were pregnant. Our girls are now a year and a half old. We also have older girls that are a month or so apart. Our older girls are in the same dance class, so we will be seeing each other often!

Billy
Billy (the stuffed lamb in this picture) has been a big part of our lives since Juli was about 3 months old. She took to him and wouldn't let go. Since she was about 6 or 7 months old, she would not go to sleep without him. She rubs the satin ribbon between her thumb and forefinger until she falls asleep. He's her lovey and her best friend.
I don't know if she realizes it yet or not, but there are actually about 5 "billies" in rotation at our house. LOL

Livi Loves Windows
Livi always climbs up on the couch and sits on the radiator to look out the back window. She learned this from her big sister. It's always been a favorite spot of Juli's too.

First Day of Dance Class
Juli was more than happy to pose for me before we left.
Juli and Katie are in the same class. They were so excited when they got there this morning.
The class had only 4 little girls in it today. Juli and Katie were happy to see another little girl from their class at school, so there was only one girl they didn't know. They introduced themselves and they were off. It was great. Since there are two teachers there is plenty of interaction and the girls were able to follow along closely. This picture was before class started. Livi wanted to dance with the big girls. Once the class started we were able to watch them from the waiting area on a tv screen. They were so cute dancing and bobbing around!
Mooooo
We bought a box of fudge while we were down the shore. Juli saw us putting it in the fridge and wanted to know what it was. James told her it was a cow. She asked if she could see it. He told her yes, but she had to cover her ears.
He proceeded to moo as he opened the box and quickly closed it. Livi came over and got in on the action. They had to make sure they covered their ears or the cow wouldn't moo.
This went on until James told them it was time for the cow to go to sleep and we needed to put him back in the fridge. He gave Juli the honor and told her she had to be super careful putting him back.
I never saw her move so slow and cautiously before! LOL!!!
It was still a cow until the next day when we took the fudge out to have a piece. Gullible kids.
Roar to the Shore
James and Joseph rode their bikes down earlier on Friday and we met up with them just in time for the rain to start.
With Hanna in town, it rained off and on most of Saturday. It really downpoured from about 3pm until around 8pm. Earlier in the afternoon we went over to the Wildwood Convention Center to see the Pro Bike Builder Show. There were a lot of really cool bikes there. It did look like a lot of builders may have bailed out due to the storm.
This picture is of Arlen Ness. Apparently he is a bigshot in the custom bike world. James knew who he was right away. I am lucky that I remember his name! LOL
Just before the worst of the storm, we took a ride down to the beach to see what the ocean looked like. The waves don't look to bad in this picture, but they were pretty big. (I have no idea who that little girl is - our girls were with my parents).
On Saturday night it cleared up enough that we were able to get out for a bit and go up on the boardwalk.
Sunday turned out to be a gorgeous day and the bikes were out in full force. Here is a very small sampling. This was a parking lot closest to the convention center. The streets were completely lined with bikes as well. If you had been able to look past the parking lot and onto the streets you would have been able to see bikes all up and down both sides of all of the surrounding streets. This was quite a site to see!
On Sunday there was a charity event where thousands of bikes rode on the boardwalk. Here are James (in front) and Joseph riding in the event on the boardwalk. It doesn't look boardwalk-y (lol) because we were in front of the convention center and it is all concrete right there.

Safety Town
On Monday, we picked up Katie and took all the girls to Safety Town to ride their bikes. They had a blast!
Juli going for a ride. She has been doing really well on this bike. She keeps asking us when we are going to take her training wheels off. Uh, never. LOL
Weekend with Nonna & Pop 8.23.08
The girls had a great time and can't wait to go back!
