Today we got to go see Livi's school parade.  The little ones were so adorable in their costumes!

Juli's School Halloween Parade

Today we went to Juli's school parade.  This was the first time I was able to make it to once, since I was always working before.  The kids went by so quickly, I was lucky to get a picture of them!

Tonight we carved up some pumpkins for Halloween.  Good thing James was home because the inside of pumpkins makes me want to puke.

I tried to stick Emmi in bed with Livi to wake her up.  That obviously didn't go as planned.  Looks like they both just wanted to snuggle.

Nonna's Halloween Spooktacular!

Today was Nonna's annual Halloween Spooktacular!  Everyone had a blast and Nonna outdid herself again!

Juli went to a friends birthday party today and they had their sheep, Bob, with them.  Bob is so funny and better behaved than any dog! Haha!

Happy 5 months Emmi!  I can't believe how quickly the last 5 months have gone!

Livi's Lorax Pumpkin

Olivia had to make a pumpkin into a character from a book for her school Halloween parade.  She choose to do the Lorax.  We sat down with the book, read it and talked about it. I was able to find a stencil of the Lorax face online.  She cut it out and used glue dots to stick it on.  We also used pipe cleaners and pom poms to make Truffula trees.  I helped her to hot glue those on.  We had a few days before it had to go to school and of course the night before all the stuff started popping off.  The hot glue was not adhering to the pumpkin.  We ended up stapling a lot of the pieces back on.  Someone at the parade said they used pins for the pieces on theirs.  That would have been a better idea!

Emmi Giggles!

Emmi has laughed a little here and there.   I guess she hasn't found anything super funny yet.  Until tonight.  Livi was blowing breath into a party hat she brought home from Mason's party.  She was making a huffing sound.  She would make a huff then look up.  Who knows why, but Emmi thought this was pretty darn funny.

 

Mason's 1st Birthday!

We celebrated Mason's 1st birthday today!  It was so fun to see most of the cousins and catch up.  It was great seeing all the little ones play together.  There was an awesome face-painter and balloon maker there.  The girls LOVED it!  Kate did a great job with the theme and the decorations!  Everything was so cute!  Too bad I didn't take pictures of all the cute monster stuff.

Sleeping Sisters

 Sometimes in the mornings I will take Emmi in the girls' room to help wake them up for school.  Livi was not budging this morning so I laid Emmi on her hoping it would wake her up.  She just wrapped her arm around her and kept on sleeping.  She never stirred or even opened her eyes.  Emmi just snuggled in and got comfy.  I guess I need a new plan...

Rocking Chair Emmi

When I went to put Emmi to bed I remembered that I had to clear out her crib and change her sheet.  I wasn't sure how I was going to do that since she was already sleeping.  I laid her on her rocking chair while I quickly fixed the crib up.  

This picture makes me a little sad.  Mainly because there was a time when she could actually lay in that chair and have plenty of room to stretch out without touching the sides of the chair.  It also makes me sad because I know in a few months she won't even be able to fit the way she does now.  She's growing SO fast!  Anyone know a way to slow down time???

Apple Picking 2013

We had so much fun apple picking last year, we decided to do it again this year.  Hopefully we will make it an annual tradition!
