Nonna's Halloween Spooktacular

After Juli's party Nonna brought a Spooktacular Halloween party to our house. She made us all dress up. We had a lot of fun. The girls are still talking about the spooktacular!

Nonna made some awesome food! These may have been my favorite! I won't give away her secrets, but these were YUMMY!

Happy Birthday Neighbor!

Tis the season for birthday parties, I guess. We have been to so many lately. Our most recent was for the little boy down the street. He was celebrating his 3rd birthday. It was supposed to be at a pumpkin patch, but since it was raining for 3 days straight it was moved indoors. The girls had tons of fun with the other kids in the playroom. They had picnic style pizza.

They got to decorate their own pumpkins. They loved it.

Juli is super serious when she concentrates. She gets that from her dad. ;-)

One of the favors from the party was "Grow a Dinosaur". You put a little capsule into warm water and it melts away and reveals a spongy little dinosaur. Juli could not get enough of these. She took tons of pictures of them. LOL

Happy 5th Birthday, Juli!!

My baby girl turned 5 today! I'm not sure I can accept that, but I guess I have no choice. Since James had to go back to work in the morning, Uncle Frankie, Aunt Karen and Sara came over to help us sing.

Um, yeah that is the cake from last night. There was A LOT left over. No sense having two leftover cakes! LOL

She loves her Uncle Frankie! Of course she does, he showed up with a new scooter!!

Seriously contemplating that wish.

Happy Birthday to Juli!

We gathered James' side of the family together before he went back to work to sing Happy Birthday to Juli. Although I somehow only ended up with pictures of Juli and Katie.

So this was where I put the camera down and the grown ups had some chat time. Later I found Livi with my hand lotion. I asked if she was using it, she told me no. I now have photographic evidence.

Apparently that evidence is also on the lens of my camera.

These pictures made me laugh. Imagine what kind of pictures I'll find on my camera when they are 15 and 14. Um, on second thought, nevermind.

Magic Kingdom 2009

We spent ALL day at the Magic Kingdom. From 9am to 10pm. It was fun, but exhausting!

It was all decorated for Halloween. Check out those giant pumpkins!

Juli loves meeting the characters. She was excited to meet Pinocchio. This was the first time we ever saw him in the park.

Livi likes to stay away from the characters. She would rather hang out here by this pole.

Sara got her first haircut at the Magic Kingdom barber shop.

She got a pair of "First Haircut" ears and a certificate. It is a pretty neat experience.

We also caught the Spectro Magic Parade at night. That was pretty neat to see.

We headed over to Rudy's house to have dinner with Mom Mom and Rudy. It was delicious and we had a great time!
