Party at Peddler's Village

One of Juli's classmates had a birthday party at Giggleberry Fair in Peddler's Village. She was super excited to go. Peddler's Village was decorated with all different scarecrows. I think they were made and donated by groups, or they might have been part of a contest. I'm not really sure.

Here is Juli with a Sharpay from High School Musical. She was very intrigued by the fact that it was wearing real clothes.

Juli said, "Look Mommy, he looks like you! Let's take your picture!!" So she did.

Right after she hit the jackpot, she got this elephant out of the crane machine.

She had a fun and lucky time at the party!

Tacony Day Parade

Growing up we always watched the Tacony Day Parade from Mom Mom's porch with our cousins. Today, the girls got to watch the parade with their cousin and some of the rest of the family.

First Day of Kindergarten!!

My baby, wait, can I still call her that? Ok, my big girl started Kindergarten today. I cannot believe it. I swear it was just yesterday that she was born!

She was SOOOOO excited. She could hardly sit still this morning. She got ready faster than she ever has! She couldn't wait to put on her pretty dress and get to school to see her new teacher Miss Rachel.

I guess she really isn't a baby anymore. Look how big she is!

She was very excited to have her name at her seat.

I picked her up from school and she was still pretty excited. She got to be the calendar girl and organizer today. She told me that Miss Rachel is the greatest kindergarten teacher EVER!!

The only bad thing she had to say was that she didn't get to take a nap and she was pretty tired. They don't take naps in kindergarten. They can either lay on a beach towel and rest, read a book quietly or write in their journal. I guess the excitement caught up with her and she was ready for a nap! If that's the worst thing about her day, I'll take it!

Back on the Dance Floor!

Dance school started up again today. Juli was more than excited. She was up before 6:30 asking me if it was time to go to dance class!!

She was happy to see Brenna there again!

A picture of the monitor in the waiting area. For the first half hour Juli and Brenna were the only ones in the class. Another little girl showed up later. It was almost like private lessons! Very nice. Most of the other kids, I'm guessing, stayed in the 4 year old class. This class was nice, there was more actual dancing and less of the fluff of last year's class.

Meanwhile Double Trouble had fun in the lobby. Livi couldn't wait to see Chloe. She even packed a backpack of babies and toys "for Chloe". LOL

Happy Birthday Brenna!

Today was Brenna's 5th birthday party. It was at an awesome playground pretty close to our house that we had never been too. The girls loved it and I can't wait to take them back!
