Ryan's 1st Birthday Party

We went to Chuck E. Cheese to help Ryan celebrate his 1st birthday. Of course Livi was terrified of the characters. She warmed up enough to enjoy herself as long as she was FAR away from them. Juli loved it all and now wants to have her party there. What else is new? She says that after every party she goes too!

Happy Valentine's Day!

For our OH-SO-ROMANTIC Valentine's day, we made heart shaped cookies. I think more sprinkles ended up on the table and floor than anywhere else! The girls had a good time though. We had some home made pizza afterward too. We didn't make it heart shaped like we did last year, but it was still yummy!

A Little Snow Won't Stop Us

James dug a path to the barbecue and cooked us up a delicious dinner! Who says you can't grill year round?

Enough with the Snow!

More snow!! Enough already! We can't wait for spring! After we dug our way out, we headed down the street to play with all the other kids on the blog. The girls had a blast and did not want to come in. We stayed out until it after it got dark!

Shrinky Dinks and Pizza

Somehow we got a hold of some Shrinky Dinks. I was really excited about this, probably more than I should have been! I remember doing these when I was a little girl. We colored them and got them ready to go in the oven.


You can't really tell from this picture but they shrank a lot! The girls thought it was really neat! I'm not really sure what to do with them now, but it was fun to do!
We also made homemade pizza from scratch. That was fun too! The girls liked helping to do that.
It came out delicious! This one was half regular, half white pie at Juli's request.

Hearts for Haiti

The girls' school sent home some hearts for them to decorate. They had to decorate them and send them back to school. The school will then display them on their walls for a while like a gallery. After a certain time, parents could walk through and buy a heart. The money made will be donated to the relief efforts in Haiti.

The girls had a great time making their hearts. They love doing arts and crafts type stuff.
